Elder Alfred Blount— Alfred Blount has been the pastor of Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church in

Asheville since 1999, and previously was Associate Minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in

Knoxville. Alfred received a degree in Business Administration from Western Carolina University, and then went on to receive his Master of Divinity at Gardner-Webb University. He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry at Gardner-Webb. Alfred has been married to his college sweetheart, Regina, for 34 years. They have three adult children, Victoria who is a current M. Div. student at Duke University, Stephen, a graduate of Mars Hill University, and Deonna, a graduate of NC Central University and a current nursing student at Gardner-Webb University.

Rev. Dr. Joe Yelton— Joe recently retired from Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, NC after 25 years of ministry. He previously pastored at Drakes Branch Baptist Church in Virginia and Cullowhee Baptist in North Carolina. Joe received degrees from Western Carolina University, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Drew University. Joe shares life with his wife of 42 years, Corinne. They have two married children, Rosemary and her husband Kevin in New York City and Jacob and his wife Kourtney in Candler.

Directions: From I-26, take the Airport Road exit and drive east. Turn right onto Hwy 25. Lutheridge is shortly on the right. We are in the building on the right named “Mission”. Please do not park on the grass. You can go up behind the building and park near the chapel.
